The Trillargento association is an educational and cultural project that aims to resist and prevent social hardship by providing music instruction in the outskirts of Lagaccio and around Genoa, Italy.

Three instrumental music courses designed for children and their parents.

Five orchestral rehearsals and a final concert.

Trillargento Orchestra

The Association currently runs courses in violin, viola, cello, double bass, clarinet, flute and recorder, trumpet, percussion, and guitar in schools around the outskirts of Genoa.  Each student is loaned an instrument to use free of charge.

All the students attending the instrument courses join the Trillargento Orchestra, which was formed in January of 2015 and now includes 100 children and teens.

In January of 2017 the Ensemble Trillargento was founded; it is made up of 26 students who were selected through an audition for their musical and technical skills.

The Aim

To carry out the project Ti porto in musica with various activities inspired by the example of El Sistema founded by Abreu.
